Atmospheric Black Metal from Batushka, Avulsed’s Death Metal and the grinding fastcore band Lycantrophy.
Let me break it down for you. I can’t make up my mind, but FUBAR does not impress. Their 5 tracks just don’t make much sense to me. They lost their grittiness. Especially compared to their earlier work. Perhaps this was already set in motion on Lead Us To War.
On the other hand! The muddy toilet flusher sound of Last Days Of Humanity that we have come to love is all there, and the fact that the tracks are previously unreleased makes it a great reason to get this split.
Japanese noisecore band Sete Star Sept is an acquired taste. They set up shop in 2004 and created a nice string of releases over the years.
If you’re familiar with the likes of A.C. then Sete Star Sept is more than palatable. They create walls of sound with blasting intensity, track after track. For those who are interested, this is the cream of the crop.
A full discography is available here and I’m including the links to some of their releases below.
LINKage. The first track to be released. Fallen Into Disuse. Thrash? but then it starts making sense.
