Japanese noisecore band Sete Star Sept is an acquired taste. They set up shop in 2004 and created a nice string of releases over the years.
If you’re familiar with the likes of A.C. then Sete Star Sept is more than palatable. They create walls of sound with blasting intensity, track after track. For those who are interested, this is the cream of the crop.
A full discography is available here and I’m including the links to some of their releases below.
Beast World – SPHC Records
Sacrifice – Fuck Yoga Records
Revision Of Noise – Fuck Yoga Records
I’m in a powerviolence rush. Cleveland outfit Apartment 213 is worth the extra attention. Not only does their 2014 (re-release) album feel like naked bodies being dragged over concrete at high speed, they also left space for noise with tracks like Lockweld: Infection and Freak War.
Mexican noise maker Vulgar Disease pleases with the sound of an unending delirium, echoing harshness blended with unrelenting distortion.
a little bit of noise for a quiet day. full of hell, noise sampler from Indonesia and one of the lots of releases that crowhurst did.
Neural transmitter soundscapes.. Gritty unnerving attempts at melody. I was expecting something different from Dopamine. Refreshing nonetheless.
FUKK THIS WORLD
Dark, droning and buzzing.
